The best campsite is Vestmanna Camping located on the main island Streymoy half an hour from the airport and also half an hour from the capital Tórshavn. Vestmanna Camping is a full hookup campsite and even has free Wi-Fi. It is open from April to October. Some campsites are really, really small. You will find campsites limited to only 3-4.
