And these weren't just any ordinary pillowcase dresses, these were machine appliquéd, high-quality pillowcases sewn by some of the best women (and one man) in the industry. I used three prints from the ' Magic ' fabric line to create this dress. Fabric traditionally comes in 2 widths: 45 inches and 60 inches. These dresses are made from regular cotton fabric and is 45″ wide (knits are usually 60″). When the fabric is made, it's folded in half width-wise, with selveges matching, then wound around the bolt.
